This is our favorite time of the year. While we remain busy and lives get even a smidge more hectic (is that possible!?), we still love the unmistakable feeling of the holiday season. Christmas lights, cheerful greeting, great food, and time with family only begin to describe why we love this time so much.
More than any other time, we really want to take a few moments to reflect on the blessings of the year, the family around us, and the true reason we celebrate Christmas.
Maybe you can join us in taking a breath and a step back from the holiday hustle and bustle, the wrapping and baking and traveling. Take a look around you and just try to count your blessings; we hope you will find that you, like us, just can't count that high.
We hope you are able to find humor this holiday. Don't take yourself, your gifts, your plans, or your outfit too seriously. Allow yourself to laugh, to let your hair down. That's the you people will want to remember throughout the year when they reflect on their Christmas memories.
Keep traditions and invent new ones. Make memories. Read a classic book or watch a classic Christmas movie (we all know you secretly love them even if you try to argue otherwise). Don't be too wrapped up in something else to really be present with your loved ones.
We hope this Christmas greets you with love, laughter, precious memories, and the true gift of Christmas.
